Lauren Thompson, MD
Dr. Lauren Thompson is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training in body imaging. A Peoria native, she graduated from Richwoods High School and Bradley University, and completed her medical education and radiology residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete a body imaging fellowship at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, affiliated with Tampa General Hospital.
With extensive experience in abdominopelvic MR imaging, Dr. Thompson specializes in liver transplant/hepatobiliary imaging, prostate, gynecologic, rectal, and genitourinary cancers, pelvic floor prolapse, bariatric imaging, and enterography studies.
After practicing in the Tampa Bay Area for several years, she is thrilled to bring her expertise back to her hometown community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, and traveling.
